Inspire International is dedicated to bringing the Word of God and the message of salvation to children throughout the world through education and school building projects. We accomplish this through partnerships with local missionaries, churches, and other established ministries who have a heart to reach and rescue children.
The Need
The rate of illiteracy & Biblical illiteracy among children and adults continues to grow. According to a recent study conducted in the United Kingdom, nearly a quarter of children had never read, seen, or heard of many of the stories of the Bible.
Research by the Barna Institute puts the probability at a person accepting Christ as their Savior at 32% for children between 5 and 13 years old, 4% for children between 14 and 18, and for people 19 years and older.
Investing in education yields significant development benefits. Education reduces poverty, boosts economic growth and increases income. It increases a person’s chances of having a healthy life, reduces maternal deaths, and combats diseases such as HIV and AIDS.
